Volunteers are the backbone of the Colorado Black Arts Festival. Volunteering can be a deeply rewarding experience where you can make an immediate and lasting difference by building a stronger community.

To make this community event successful, the Colorado Black Arts Festival needs 300 dedicated volunteers for the three-day festival event, pre-festival set-up, and post-festival tear-down.

These are great volunteer opportunities for individuals or groups to help at the Colorado Black Arts Festival and be a part of something that supports the entire community. Please help us make the Festival a huge success!

The Colorado Black Arts Festival is always looking for new and skilled leaders to join our team! If are looking to get involved with your community in the arts and cultural sector CBAF is for you!!

Concessions Zone Managers

Concessions is a large part when it comes to bringing in income for the festival. Three zone managers will support the lead concessions coordinator in setting up concessions stands, filling inventory, prepare lemonade, and managing beverage booth stands.

Areas to cover:
(3) Lemonade Stands
(2) Beer Stands
VIP Stocking

Food Court Assistant

This person will help with the pre-, during, and post- vendor coordination of the food vendors. You will work closely with the food court coordinator to completer the following:

Research new vendors
Contact returning vendors
Pull vendor reports
Manage vendor needs (electricity)
Set-up of (2) food courts and check-in.
Communications

Vendor Assistant

This person works with the vendor coordinator to set-up and check-in over the weekend. This position includes:

Marking vendor spots
Vendor check-in
Vendor management (safety)
